Types of Water Features
We build a wide variety of water features for both residential and commercial properties.
Ponds
Cool, clear and inviting, the perfect focal point of any landscape. Ponds create more dramatic change in your landscape and lifestyle than anything else you could do to your yard. A well-designed pond from Vought Water Gardens will require less maintenance and water than the same square footage of grass. Because you don’t have to walk your fish or even feed them, they are the perfect pets.
Dragonflies and frogs will also be attracted to your pond, which will reduce the population of disease carrying insects. With no chemicals or ultraviolet lights, your pond will require very little of you but will give you so much in return.
Streams
Twisting and meandering, streams are the connection between your waterfalls and pond. Sounds emanate and light sparkles from the stream. With beach areas and deep spots, wildlife will be called to your garden oasis. No one stops to watch a tulip bloom, but no one will be able to resist a reflective pause by you watercourse.
Waterfalls
The beautiful and natural beginning of the water garden experience. Long before you can see it, the soothing sounds beckon you. Whether you need crashing white noise to drown out the sounds of nearby distractions or the melodious trickles to calm your frazzled nerves, we can design the right falls for you.

Pondless Waterfalls
A pondless waterfall is the perfect alternative for enthusiasts who want a waterfall and stream but don’t want to keep fish or have a pond. It’s great for public settings, and it’s virtually maintenance free. There’s no ecological need to run the system continuously so it works very well with vacation homes.

Constructed Wetlands
When it comes to big projects, this is by far the easiest way to obtain good water quality. From three hundred square feet and up to golf course ponds and subdivision retention ponds, we can handle it. Beautifully.
Our large water projects are supported by a network of contractors organized as Constructed Wetlands International. This organization give us a large pool of skilled wetland contractors to draw upon and get the job done right.
