Parade of Ponds
Each year Vought Water Gardens sponsors the Parade of Ponds to provide a look at how home owners are enjoying the water garden lifestyle, and to benefit local charities.
What exactly is a Parade of Ponds?
Well it is quite simple. Think of it as a garden tour. And think of it as a fundraiser. It is a win-win situation for everybody. The pond owners get to show off the water garden that they are so proud of. The tour participant enjoys the beautiful sights and family entertainment. I get to expose many new faces to the joys of water gardening.
Vought Water Gardens has sponsored the Birmingham Area Parade of Ponds and the Greater Decatur Parade of Ponds. These are typically 2-day events at over 15 locations showcasing water features by various contractors.
Generally held on the 4th weekend in June, for a $10.00 donation, which goes to a local charity, you have the opportunity to peek at some of the greatest backyard paradises in our area.

Pond Tours We Sponsor
- The Decatur Parade of Ponds was held Saturday, May 10th and Sunday, May 11th, with a VIP event on Friday, May 9th. Thanks to all who participated! All proceeds from this event go to charity.
- The Birmingham Area Parade of Pondsis scheduled for the fourth weekend in June, which is Saturday the 28th of June and Sunday the 29th. We will reveal the details of the VIP event at a later date. Again, contact us if you want to participate in this event.
