Ponds for Kids
The Ponds for Kids Program exists to introduce children to the concept of environmental education, stuardship, and community involvement.
Vought Water Gardens partners with the North American Water Garden Society and the Alabama Wildlife Federation to bring a meaningful outdoor study area to the school yard as part of the Certified Outdoor Classroom Program.
A representative from Vought Water Gardens will work with the school, the students, and the volunteers to build a beautiful functioning ecosystem at a highly discounted rate. An activity guide containing lessons that meet state and federal academic objectives is included with enrollment in the program.
We are giving back to the community, grooming the next gernation of pond lovers, and getting the word out about what we do.
Ponds for Kids Packages
We have developed several different packages which include planning of the feature, facilitation of the installation, activity guides, and follow-up support.
- Pondless Package
- 8 x 11 Package
- 11 x 16 Package
Because we underwrite the projects, we are able to provide deep discounts for this experience. Please contact us for more information about Ponds for Kids, the Alabama Wildlife Federation, and the packages we offer.
