  • Comet - large fins, long caudal fin which is deeply forked
  • Sarassa - white and red comet
  • Fantail - split or double caudal fin
  • Moor - black fantail
  • Shubunkin - "transparent" scales, 2 colors
  • Calico shubunkin - 3 colors
  • Oranda - short chunky body with a raspberry like growth called a cap
  • Lion head - Oranda without a dorsal fin
